Poli Grappa evening at the Hotel Al Moretto - Castelfranco Veneto
People fond of their work have a special energy able to influence anyone who lives close to them!
Mrs. Luciana is a great example of this. She is the Al Moretto Hotel proprietor, a relaxing Hotel in the heart of Castelfranco Veneto and she was the host of a Grappa tasting, held on June 20th 2012.
Speaking with Luciana gives a feeling of sparkling energy, accuracy, scrupulousness, rapidity.
The Grappa tasting was held in the tea room where Jacopo led the event through the family history, the cultural and society changes over the last 50 years and the consequent evolution of the Grappa industry, and eventually through the tasting of 8 distillates.
Luciana then prepared an excellent Grappa dinner. The menu was set up with a Folade of guinea-fowl cooked in Grappa as entrée, a Risotto Imbriago (meaning "drunk", of Grappa of course!), Rubbit Barrique (cooked with Grappa Barrique) as main course, Gelato Ciucco (drunk ice cream) and a selection of chocolate
with Grappa as dessert!
A memorable evening, led by a special host, with interested and friendly guests, in a wonderful atmosphere
